MCE SERVICES is a family owned company that has been in business for 17 years. We are looking for highly proficient, professional 3-5 years minimum of experience as a Commercial Restaurant Equipment and Refrigeration Service and Repair Technician to serve Atlanta Metro area.

 

Job Description:

Refrigeration Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

Field Service Technician responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration equipment, ice makers at our customer locations throughout Atlanta Metro Area. Provide preventative maintenance (PM) inspections and respond to emergency service calls on equipment including, walk in freezers/coolers, rich in freezers/ coolers, margarita machines, ice makers, prep tables, ovens, warmers and etc. equipment. Must be self motivated and willing to learn and challenge yourself daily.

Minimum Requirements:

3 years minimum of cooking, refrigeration equipment service experience.
Technical School Preferred
Must have strong electrical and mechanical skills.
Must have strong customer communication skills.
Must be dedicated to customer service and must be on time to work and well organized.
Must be able to pass a Drug screen and a criminal background check.
Must have a valid drivers license with a good driving record.
Must be willing to perform on-call duties and work after normal business hours, as needed.

Desired Characteristics:

Experience with walk in freezers/coolers, rich in freezers/ coolers, margarita machines, ice makers, prep tables, ovens, warmers and etc.
CFESA certification and Factory training a plus.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, Diagnose, and Repair all types of refrigeration and cooking equipment. Treat customers and employees with respect, courtesy and professionalism at all times. Complete service calls in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with Customers, Service Manager, Dispatcher, and Salesmen.

Additional Job Responsibilities:

Participate in an on-call work rotation of after-hours and weekend standby duty.
Identify new customers and additional opportunities within our existing accounts.
Maintain and clean your Service vehicle.
Order parts and complete the required paperwork.
